Json doesn't have comments because the designer of the language didn't like them. So if you come from any other programming language, know that's why you might be having issues (like me!). Check your Json out here . Also Beam keeps a separate copy of your materials in a BeamNG Personal, under vehicles. So changing code doesn't always show up unless you clear your cache. I'm a software engineer, and before getting my rM2, I kept all of my notes in Markdown format. They're under source control (git), and I use mkdocs to build them into a static website.
