Given the breadth of topics in undergrad physics, may I suggest materials from MIT Open Courseware? https://ocw.mit.edu/ My theory is that you can get a sequence of courses, or at least the materials for them, that are consistent. One way could be to check out MIT Open Courseware and find a media studies course, look at the readings, and find some basic texts from an introductory course that could help me understand how the information is generated.
