Can you double check if you installed the correct URL? https://journalisticapp.com is only the home page, so you need to open the app at https://pwa.journalisticapp.com and install that one. I was amazed that the site still runs, apparently still using the same engine. But it seems that it was a flash site (of course), and archive.org seems to replace Flash Player with "Ruffle" [1].
