One place you're guaranteed to find that is a farming co-op/eco-village. there's many across the US. you'll have to give up on your career temporarily, but you'll have a clear daily purpose -- working the land, or whatever task you get up to; you'll have health (as fresh food and exercise are abundant in these places); and you'll definitely have your fill of community.
