Jekyll is built in Ruby and is known for its flexibility and ease of use. It also has a large community and a wide variety of plugins and themes available. Jekyll's main advantage is that it is highly customizable,...

10 static site generators to watch in 2021
Perhaps most conveniently described as Jekyll implemented with JavaScript rather than Ruby, Eleventy has now moved beyond that while retaining a clear and simple on-ramp, and only shipping to the browser what you tell it too. As with Jekyll and Hugo, no JavaScript frameworks are auto-baked in.

Meetgeek.ai Reviews

  1. The best voice recognition and transcription software for any level of professional in any field
    • Best at analytics about sentence classification
    • I like that Meetgeek.ai allow me to upload my own voice in the beginning so it can recognize my voice patterns and reduce the number of errors in transcription over time.
    • Integration with Google Calendar, Teams and Zoom are nice if you are wanting a live transcription
    • Price is great and you really get a ton of time of transcription with even the lowest subscription plan
    🏁 Competitors: Avoma
  2. An interesting application that is worth keeping an eye out for. I mainly use it for Zoom meetings to get a transcription at the end. On top of that, it has a feature for labels that allows it to create a summary at the end based on some keywords. I am eager to see new features added to it especially on the summary side.

    🏁 Competitors: SysGears Grain Framework
👍 Pros:    Auto transcription|Zoom meeting sync
👎 Cons:    Can not edit the transcript
  3. Great time saver

The ability to view past meetings and label highlighting saves me the hassle of doing Jira queries. Having context for the information I'm interested in is also great.

I also like the fact that the developers are open to feedback and do improvements on a weekly basis.

    👍 Pros:    Saves a ton of time|Search feature|Clean ui
👎 Cons:    Doesn't work with personal teams account

  • Recovering My Blog with Jekyll and Proxmox
Today I decided to try and update the Jekyll theme for this site, Chirpy. If you've watched the blog or gone to this blog's status page you probably noticed it was down for a few hours today. Needless to say, things didn't go as planned. It turns out that the last time I tried to update/recreate the blog site I chose the Chirpy Starter option instead of the Github Fork option, and in trying to update it the whole... - Source: dev.to / 14 days ago

  • Starlight vs. Docusaurus for building documentation
In that case, what we need would be closer to a static site generator (like Gatsby, Hugo, Jekyll). But, static site generators aren't the best choice either because we would have to build a lot of documentation-focused functionality (like versioning, search, and code blocks) ourselves. - Source: dev.to / 4 months ago
