I'm surprised at the lack of comparisons to the Jamboard (https://workspace.google.com/products/jamboard/). Even the promotional images look similar. It is worth noting that Both Google [1] (since 2016) and Microsoft [2] (since 2018 ?) have their own collaborative whiteboard app. Yet Miro is almost the only one everyone is talking about. Maybe because it is by far the unique unicorn in the space (17B valuation/2012). Or is it the other way around ? What's really interesting is Entangle. https://entangle-photo.org/ It works with a lot of DSLRs, it doesn't require you to do any of these steps, and it captures the output. The only thing it doesn't do is then map that to an output for other applications to pick up. This. Go for tethered capture on a pair of old dSLRs and use something like an rPi or just bloody long cables to pull the images to an always-on linux box.
