iO-808 VS Splice

I would highly recommend enabling click and drag to "paint" notes. As it is right now, if I want 16 closed hats, I have to move, click, 16 times. I'd rather drag to paint based on whatever state of the note I start on. The mutes on the left would be better if they mute the notes, not the sounds. Also of note that Firefox's Web Audio API implementation just isn't very good in general. It's my daily driver, but I won't run Airsonic in it, because after half an hour or so the music reliably starts glitching. Fine in every other client, so it's definitely a Firefox thing, and iO-808 [1] also calls it out in an alert if you go there in Firefox. Buy through splice.com its no interest or fees added and a I think about $8.99 US a month till you pay it off u get same things and updates till its paid off which takes a long time so a steal at the price you own it outright when paid off. Source: 6 months ago

I upgraded Cubase to 13, which essentialy adds 6 months to your rent but now I can't use Cubase at all. It says the license expired, and when I click "renew" in the Activation Manager it just brings me to splice.com which says that my license is active... Source: 6 months ago

Lastly, if you have exhausted your 60 day trial, and are in need of Pro, but can't spend at the moment, splice.com offers a rent-to-own plan for Cubase Pro. It is always at full price though and never goes on sale, so keep that in mind. Although, it's good to pay $17 for a couple months till the sale arrives, and then crossgrade to it. I like using Splice. They have tons of one shots and loops and it all drags-and-drops right into your DAW. You can probably get a free trial to get what you need, then cancel. Source: 12 months ago
