I'm using interserver.net for the first time. I saw some decent recommendations for them. I have been reaching out to their support and I am discovering that they don't appear to provide any kind of VPN protection. They responded to me saying that they have the Windows firewall turned on. I responded back asking why anyone would put a server online without some kind of VPN tunnel to access it. They provided me... Source: 10 months ago
I purchased a storage account from interserver.net that supports FTP. Am I missing something where I think putting this account information to my reolink NVR will work? Source: 10 months ago
I've tried 4. Currently missing attestations at interserver.net. Source: over 1 year ago
AWS is too expensive. I tried netcup who seemed cheapest but they want payment via paypal or bank transfer. Currently trying interserver.net. Good luck. Source: over 1 year ago
Ok, after looking at the comments, it’s renting. If you wanna get better bang for your buck, and you’re willing to mess with a terminal window, you could use something like interserver.net which costs slightly less, and is potentially faster (it really depends on the CPU in the server‘s plan). I've reached to their customer support and they are saying they allocated the same amount of server resources for my... Source: about 1 year ago
I'm in the process of moving all my Wordpress sites over to getflywheel.com. The pricing is comparable to running my own server (which I also do) but I don't have to worry about uptime, backups, etc. I also like that every site I publish gets attached to their content network (think Akamai or similar) so that site outages are eliminated. If you want to keep your life simple, you can use a Wordpress boutique host like Flywheel as they make it all easy to operate for someone without a ton of experience, and they have awesome support. Their plans start at $15/month, and their basic plan is plenty for most people. I love their service. I currently host 80+ sites with them. https://getflywheel.com/. Source: about 1 year ago
Just wondering if anyone has any recent experience with using Flywheel ideally using their freelancer/agency-focused plans but also with regard to general performance and support? Source: almost 2 years ago
