• Am I making a mistake by hosting 20 websites on a single server?

  I'm in the process of moving all my Wordpress sites over to getflywheel.com. The pricing is comparable to running my own server (which I also do) but I don't have to worry about uptime, backups, etc. I also like that every site I publish gets attached to their content network (think Akamai or similar) so that site outages are eliminated.   If you want to keep your life simple, you can use a Wordpress boutique host like Flywheel as they make it all easy to operate for someone without a ton of experience, and they have awesome support.   Either way you'll end up using a host like a2hosting.com (search for "a2hosting comparison" to find other hosts) which let you put up your own web pages because listing domains only on Afternic, Sedo, GoDaddy, etc., still doesn't give you much more visibility than posting them as For Sale on which ever domain name service/registrar you choose, which in itself gives you little visibility except to sharks who cruise...
