I am in office at least once a week. If I need to do J2, I will use guest WiFi and remote desktop onto my computer at home and do things from there. My J2 is a US company, I deliberately chose it as it has a good chance of being remote and won't clash with meetings. The point number 1 is valid. It is possible that the xing.com becomes more popular by recruiters and suddenly the amount of offers increases. It would be also possible the other way around if they increased their fee to advertise jobs on the platform. I don't have explanation for the sudden peak in 2018, so I wonder if this is not the reason. Source: about 1 year ago

For Germany you can set up a profile on xing.com. Recruiters will contact you if you have something to offer. It's harder to get a job if you don't speak German but still possible. A complete remote job might be hard to get though. Source: over 1 year ago
