I am in office at least once a week. If I need to do J2, I will use guest WiFi and remote desktop onto my computer at home and do things from there. My J2 is a US company, I deliberately chose it as it has a good chance of being remote and won't clash with meetings. Going off of https://swissdevjobs.ch/, there are 516 jobs listed, with 349 having german as a required language. While of course this isn't the definite answer, and maybe a lot of company would still hire someone who doesn't speak german, you are initially at a disadvantage trying to get hired with them.
