Indify (https://indify.co/) has a widget for gallery slides. I haven't used it myself yet, so I'm unsure of how many photos you can add and how well it works overall. I had ideas to build an app, and made few 2 years ago or so. Indeed these technologies are great to start with. I would suggest going with Kodular.io or thunkable.com instead of appinventor.
