You can add Samba (and other) shares in there by tapping the '...' in the upper-right corner, hitting 'Connect to Server', then inputting your local server's address and connecting. Https://immich.app/ has built in auto-detection and tagging. I am surprised by the over-engineered comment. Object auto-detection is kind of an advanced feature and I would expect a lot of extra infra required for it. Same issue. I have uninstalled (Revo) and installed 5 times and still can't get Pushbullet to work. Now it seems I have to got to pushbullet.com to read and send SMS, instead of doing it local on my PC with Windows 10. Seems to have happened in last 2 days.
