7 Best Rufus Alternatives To Create Bootable USB In 2022
If you’ve been using Windows for a long time, you may have heard about PowerISO. It’s a pretty old tool that helps you burn ISOs onto storage devices in no time. Apart from burning the ISO, it can also extract ISO files and burn and rip audio CDs to MP3 and other extensions.

10 Best Rufus Alternatives in 2022 (USB Bootable Tools)
This one is not precisely a Bootable USB creator, but it can create Bootable USB. It’s an image mounting tool that lets you mount disks. The latest version of PowerISO is capable of creating a USB Bootable drive. However, creating Bootable USB via PowerISO could be difficult because it doesn’t provide any direct option.

It's not just a program for creating bootable USB drives but also comes with hosts of other features like converting various image formats to ISO, mounting disk, virtual drives, and more. • Transcoding to RAM disk - is it worth it?
4: Depends on our OS but on windows I used ImDisk then set the transcoding directory in settings. Those same settings are how you'd set it to a dedicated disk as well. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Seems like you can no longer play RUST on a RAM Drive. No more super loading into RUST at 10gb/s for me :(, Stupid EAC.
Since I have 128GB of ram, https://i.imgur.com/CkBzNvS.png I like to shove my games into ram and load them very fast. Up until a few days ago it was working for RUST, but now it doesn't work any more because of EAC. On normal nvme ssd I can load into a 5k map in about good 5 minutes, but on a ram drive, I was able to load into a 5k map in a minute or two. • Showcase: Speed difference between Plex Server on HDD and SSD
If your server is hosted on Windows you can use any RAMdisk software. I use ImDisk Toolkit. Set up a RAM disk to launch at Windows startup, set the drive letter, and in your Plex server settings > Transcoder (enable advanced settings), set your transcoder directory to the RAMdisk. • Can be saved?
You would preferably download the dmg from Apples website here and open it on the ThinkPad and download PowerISO here and follow there official instructions on how to do it. Then hold down alt/option key on the Mac and insert the DVD and boot off of it. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Can be saved?
Possibly, this is a GPU failure which is not repairable, except for a logic board swap, but you can try and reinstall OSx which would require an install dvd or burn OSX to a DVD from Apple and use software like powerISO and burn a DVD (iirc, these old Macs don’t have USB booting) and format Macintosh HD (or whatever the main hdd is called) and X out of disk utility and reinstall OSX.
