  I meant to say, right now there are services operating on iCloud.com, right? Could it be the case that those services operate without end-to-end encryption? Not sure, but I don't think so. My understanding is, iCloud.com shouldn't be the obstacle for end-to-end encryption. Didn't mean to say to disable it all together. Source: 5 months ago

• unable to sync icloud on my macbook air m1 8/256gb macos sonoma v14.1.1, it asks me for a 4 digit security code i never set and its the only apple device i have...unable to sync icloud

  I've been seeing this red exclamation mark in my Backblaze preferences view on my Mac. When I click it, it only takes me to my account view on backblaze.com. Obviously, it's intended to indicate that something isn't right, but I get no information.   For redundancy, why don't you look at one more copy of your data or what you believe to be important in cloud? Wasabi or Backblaze look like perfect candidates to me. You could sync data to cloud and backup NAS with rclone. Yes, it looks like a deviation of 3-2-1 backup rule. Source: over 1 year ago
