I often use the Hunter Google Chrome extension to assist me in discovering the contact details of new outreach targets. The only drawback is that I quite often exceed my free monthly allowance of lead requests.
Based on our record, Hunter should be more popular than SuperCollider. It has been mentiond 150 times since March 2021. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
We CAN get to over a million and start getting into the main stream news as I have connections and can use hunter.io, press release etc. Source: 7 months ago
Use hunter.io and reach out to business CEOs in my area (Denver) and see if I could work for them. Source: 10 months ago
Definitely speak to recruiters (Private Equity Recruiting is the top option in Europe, IMO), but the best way to do it is to use a tool like hunter.io to find the email addresses of general partners at top firms, and (I can't stress this enough) send them qualified dealflow with your high-level analysis (I'll also add more detail below). Since then, I've been working more and more with TidalCycles. TidalCycles is an open-source live coding framework for creating patterns written in Haskell. TidalCycles uses SuperCollider on the backend, another language I've been using for live coding. Recently, I started using Tidal Looper for live vocal processing. This blog post will walk you through what you need to get started with vocal looping with Tidal... - Source: dev.to / 26 days ago

For the intrepid, especially those annoyed with the purported input-sluggishness of musescore et al, an interesting text-based alternative is LilyPond https://lilypond.org/ My dad wrote an opera using LilyPond in vim, though I believe these days he's actually doing more with supercollider, which skips sheetmusic and goes right to sounds: https://supercollider.github.io/. - Source: Hacker News / 11 months ago
Weirdly enough,I got into programming through music. I got into making experimental electronic music and ended up learning SuperCollider. Figured I’d have to get a real job at some point and I liked learning Supercollider enough that I figured I should try to go back to school and learn some more useful programming languages. So you’re wondering what would making music with code look like? The tools I’m familiar with are TidalCycles, Sonic Pi, and SuperCollider. I’m having a hard time describing what it’s like to make music with tools like these so here’s a video of a performance. One person is live coding the music and the other is live coding the visuals. I think it’s super cool how the music is improvised and built over time by... Source: about 1 year ago
