  • HubSpot for Marketing
Check their Academy if you need to develop your skills in that area or just learn how the HubSpot Marketing Software works. They also have a very active and friendly community you can reach out to for support or just to check what is being discussed there. For example, I check their product updates weekly. • Unemployment at record lows and I still can't land a job :(
Look for ways to upskill for free. You can find a lot of free short courses online; for example, through HubSpot Academy for sales and marketing. Your local library or other community organisation may also run courses sometimes. Look around, see what you can find. And speaking of tailoring resumés and cover letters, this is a big one that I would be willing to bet your local library does cover. Source: over 1 year ago

  • Bought my first laptop for my education after years of being homeless, hope I invested my money right.
CS is computer science. Also check out edx.com It is hosted by Harvard and if you pay for the course which is very little you get a certificate from them. There is also groupings of courses were you can get a business certificate. Also check out udemy.com. Wait for the specials for $10-15. • Rant - Anyone else having trouble finding a job?
Core coding and IT skills are a must though. Pick a language you followed and liked at Uni, check there is decent job demand for it, and do a udemy.com course on it (great value, great content, very cheap). Pair this with a major cloud (Azure or AWS) qualification which is pretty much a must these days, and you're much more attractive as an applicant. Source: 10 months ago

  • Cheap/free language lessons
If you're prepared to do self-study, take a look at the udemy.com learning site. I paid somewhere in the region of £15 (they retail for around £60-70 in general but always come on sale at some point) for a number of courses (incl. languages). The courses are rated by students and I haven't yet been let down. Source: 11 months ago
