I couldn't get past sign up two times, once on answermug.com (the admins wouldn't respond when I mentioned my account wasn't approved, and asked why) and hubski.com (I can log in, but I can't post or comment and the admins still haven't responded to my emails about my problem). Lemmy is like Reddit and here because it has threaded comment discussions. The entire page is based on Lemmy (https://join-lemmy.org/). I disabled a ton of features and interface parts, as IMO the original lemmy interface is super noisy. Runs on bare-metal with docker-compose. For the facelift, just good old CSS :). - Source: Hacker News / 7 months ago
