I first learned about that back when howtogeek.com had trivia questions - those poor women were told it was harmless, and furthermore to USE THEIR LIPS to make a fine point on the brushes they were using... so they went ahead and painted their nails, teeth, etc...   As for dolls..this site is something I’ve found which may work. It seems that a bunch of 3D doll making artists post their work here for sale, which makes me believe they may not be recasts as they artist themselves usually post part of the process on the listing, or the product while in their designing program.
