Try https://tomighty.github.io/ or https://chris.dziemborowicz.com/apps/hourglass/ - when minimized to taskbar icon it shows time progress as a background colour. If you find something better let me know. I also looking for a regular clock in taskbar (hour & minutes only). Source: almost 3 years ago

I ran into this same problem like 6-7 years ago, it was in a mixed Linux/Windows env and when time drift between the two would get out of sync things would break all over the place. I found that all my Linux boxes were staying in sync with NTP but my DCs were not even with time sync with host turned off. Maybe a mildly hacky solution but I installed NetTime from timesynctool.com on my DCs and used the NTP servers... Source: over 1 year ago

Two things I have found that greatly help my ping and disconnects: NetTime : http://timesynctool.com/ - Set it to update PC time every 20 minutes or so. Source: about 2 years ago

While we're talking about Windows utilities, Nettime is another great one to maintain your system time to the high accuracy required as a validator (+/-500ms). Set it to auto update every 15 minutes. Source: over 2 years ago
