I am Marriott Titanium, and my last two visits to Florence (and one upcoming in about 3 weeks), we've stayed at Marriott Homes & Villas properties, rather than hotels, which feel overpriced (especially the Westin & St Regis, but the Sina Villa Medici does look cool though).   Marriott is a always less generous - sometimes they have a slight multiplication special like in the screenshot, but usually they're 1:1. I'm keeping an eye on that, though, because Marriott has an established AirBnB style service of their own - except they vet/inspect all the properties AND you don't have to clean on the way out - that you can use points for!   Others, try using Hotel.com and booking.com in advance, but they are not guaranteed rooms, and almost every year I see people trying to argue with the front desk that they have a reservation.
