  • Tools for Linux Distro Hoppers
Hopping from one distro to another with a different package manager might require some time to adapt. Using a package manager that can be installed on most distro is one way to help you get to work faster. Flatpak is one of them; other alternative are Snap, Nix or Homebrew. Flatpak is a good starter, and if you have a bunch of free time, I suggest trying Nix. - Source: dev.to / about 1 month ago
  • SQLite Schema Diagram Generator
Are you using SQLite that ships with macOS, or SQLite installed from homebrew? I had a different problem in the past with the SQLite that ships with macOS, and have been using SQLite from homebrew since. So if it’s the one that comes with macOS that gives you this problem that you are having, try using SQLite from homebrew instead. https://brew.sh/. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 month ago

  • How do I hide the recent folders shown when I right click the Finder app?
Workaround is NOT to use the Finder but a replacement such as the much better and much more sophisticated Path Finder by Cocoatech or others you can find on macupdate.com If you use a different file manager recent folders do not appear with a right-click on the Finder app. Does this help? • Flotato vs Fluid vs Unite4 on macOs
Interesting thread, actually I was looking for a method to create web applications and thanks to you I have the answer. As for your question, I see one major difference, only flotato is optimized for apple silicon and updated fairly, unity and fluid haven't been refreshed for years - I'm relying on data from macupdate.com. • Nothing ‘Just works’ anymore .. :-(
I used to find a link to Macupdate.com to download the products, now you go to the Apple Store and everything is "signed" by apple. You can still go to macupdate.com to get other apps, but like the "old ages" it is up to you to discern if the app is legit. Source: over 1 year ago
  • MacOS Mojave (10.14) compatible download
So I went to macupdate.com, they have v2.5.1, downloaded and opened it. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Can’t find an easy tutorial
You can alway uninstall using the "AppCleaner" by Freemacsoft at macupdate.com. Or "App Cleaner & Uninstaller" from Nektony. And then start over. Where did you get your Adobe installer? Source: over 2 years ago
