  • Show HN: Hacker News with Tags
Hi, I’m Kirubakaran. I’m building histre - a knowledge tool for individuals and teams. One of the features of histre is to auto-organize your knowledge. I thought that a fun way to demo that could be to apply that to the Hacker News front page. This page mirrors HN with tags automatically applied: https://histre.com/hn/ You can filter by or exclude multiple tags. For example, if you’re tired of posts related to ai... - Source: Hacker News / 12 months ago

I’ve been looking at Histre. Would that do? Source: about 1 year ago
  • Self-promotion Thread [Off Topic]
I have a few servers colocated in a datacenter for histre.com, which is a knowledge system for everyone. Histre does a lot of machine learning, and there is a GPU on the server (Tesla T4) that's often idle. I figured it can run Stable Diffusion when the GPU is idle so that people get to experience SD for free, and perhaps hear about histre too. That's not my main motivation though. • To the guy who wouldn't share his model
I have a few servers colocated at he.net for running histre.com I installed Nvidia Tesla T4 in one of them because histre does a lot of machine learning. I figured it can run Stable Diffusion when the GPU is idle so that people get to experience it, and perhaps hear about histre too (though that's not my main motivation). Source: over 1 year ago
  • An interesting accident
Histre is a knowledge tool. It seamlessly works with your bookmarks, lets you collaborate on your online research, etc. It uses AI for various things, but behind the scenes, so that everyone can make use of it, not just people super into tech. Source: over 1 year ago

  • Sorting podcasts by subject and recency, regardless of the specific podcasts
So for that, I go to listennotes.com. There, I can search for the exact phrase "San Diego Open," sort by when it was updated, and away I go. Source: 8 months ago
  • I want to stop doomscrolling and relying on my phone so much for dopamine. What are some non-screen activities that still give you enough dopamine but are also easy/chill enough to not add to your burnout?
I discover podcasts by using an episode search, for very specific topics I like. A lot of podcast players don't have good search features--use listennotes.com or some other search engine, if needed. Source: 11 months ago
  • Show other than Court Junkie that covered the Jackson murders recently

  • Astral Codex Ten On Chris Kavanaugh
You know what he means. If I go to listennotes.com and search GTG for bret|weinstein (which won't find everything but to get a lower-bound) there is 9 episodes where he shows up in the notes. That's about 20 hours of podcasting about Bret and "Bret-adjacent" stuff. Source: about 1 year ago
