I don't like LinkedIn, but in Canada, there are excellent offers at Indeed.com, Levels.fyi and my favorite Hired.com, a friend also recommended simplify.jobs. - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
Are those private hiring boards worth it? (hired.com, otta.com, underdog.io, etc). Source: over 1 year ago

Have you considered contract work? It would get your foot in the door and get you a paycheck. Get a free resume review at https://www.topresume.com/ and make sure your LI profile matches it. Also, do a search on your job position and make sure you are maximizing key words so the ATS picks up your resume. You can also post your resume to hired.com and let companies interview you. Best of luck! Source: almost 2 years ago

I'd second this except for the fiverr part. Fiverr is a great way to continue exploiting low wages for talented work, keepingtthe whole industry struggling. Perhaps try somewhere like Working not Working or check out AI-AP, or the Society of Illustrators. Source: over 2 years ago
As I understand it, though, there's never been a better time to get into the freelance world. On the WorkingNotWorking job board, there seem to be a good mix of attractive Freelance and FT opportunities. Source: over 3 years ago
