  For language, try to memorize basic phrases on your flight. Trust Google maps for directions. Google translate can be kinda mid. I used hiNative & lingoza pretty much every day. Anki is nice once you want to really learn vocab after mastering day to day phrases. Source: 12 months ago

For comments, most solutions were also too heavy, paid or had ads, but I finally found https://giscus.app/.
