All I can find on the status of Armbian images for Helm v1 hardware is in the farewell message at thehelm.com: "We are still working on firmware updates for v1 servers to run Armbian." I guess it depends on which parts they need to be better. From a functionality standpoint I would list, hey.com, fastmail and icloud as better. mailbox.org is better on being a traditional mail host you access using your own client (no wierd bridge app). hey.com and icloud are US hosted if that matters to you. Wifi calling can be totally free if you bypass the wireless carriers. I make free video calls all the time. The gotcha is that the person on the other end has to run the same software as you.
