Healthcare.gov VS Amazon Pharmacy

I have recently immigrated to the US. I need health insurance until I find a job which provides with one. I visited healthcare.gov and it was bit confusing as some of the plans were showing up a minimum of 500$/month (49 year old). Could someone advise me whether there are cheaper options. Go to healthcare.gov and see if you qualify for insurance. Maximum out of pocket depends on the type of plan you pick and what it covers. If you don't qualify through healthcare.gov, you will need to buy insurance on your own which could be quite expensive. Source: 5 months ago

You can still get it done without insurance, it's just really expensive. It will be thousands of dollars cheaper to get insurance for a year or so and have the surgery covered than to try and pay for it out of pocket, so it's worth maybe getting insurance. Now with the prescription in hand, I could have opted to get on GoodRx and shop for the best price to fill it. However, Amazon also now has a drug retailing wing called Pharmacy that is competitive on price and will 2-day ship to your door. So I just purchased through them. Agree with pill organizer idea. Its the only way I remember to take my meds. If you are in the US consider just switching your prescription to https://pharmacy.amazon.com/ with auto renew on they just mail it to you every month. Source: 11 months ago

I would check to see if you are able to get any of your medications online and delivered to you for cheaper. Check out https://costplusdrugs.com or https://pharmacy.amazon.com/. Source: about 1 year ago
