I had no idea how bad listening for things like key presses and dragging events are today. Given how nice and fairly standard a lot of the APIs across browsers and platforms have become, I was shocked at how rough this space is. I recently got the Wavlink AX3000 mesh router to replace my service provided router so that I can set my own preferred DNS server (running Pihole on my Rasberry Pi). Since hooking up this router I've been seeing anywhere from 6-12 DNS queries per minute to bing.com of A and AAAA type.
