  Depending on what type of cybersecurity you want to do, there's other ways to set yourself apart as well. Another way I'd get confidence in someone's abilities is if they've made bug bounties on bugcrowd.com or hackerone.com, for example.   There are service like this one. https://saucelabs.com/ is one. There used to be browser plugins to simulate a different browser. But as we found out over time: simulates devices aren't true to the real thing, so often you'll just simply run into problems in the simulated device ce that don't occur on the real device, or vice versa.
