Questions and Answers

As answered by people managing HackerEarth and InterviewCrunch.

What makes your product unique?

InterviewCrunch's answer:

InterviewCrunch teaches you the pattern of how to solve problems so you can always think of a general approach for any question. It walks through 4-5 practice problems that can be solved with the same pattern, where each problem simulates a real interview format. Each question progressively gets more and more challenging, while you get more and more practice with that pattern.

Not only that, but it's designed for visual learners. Each algorithm is accompanied with illustrated slides that follow step-by-step the approach of the coded solution. No more scrubbing back and forth through lengthy 15 minute videos!

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

InterviewCrunch's answer:

InterviewCrunch was created by two engineers who both have received offers and worked at FAANG. They also have been both interviewee and interviewers at big tech companies.

How would you describe your primary audience?

InterviewCrunch's answer:

InterviewCrunch is perfect for those who want to level up their career in software engineering or to enter the field.

What's the story behind your product?

InterviewCrunch's answer:

Interviewing used to be an incredibly stressful and nerve-wracking experience for me. Especially when first trying to “grind” through coding questions, solutions never came intuitively and sometimes the ideas didn’t stick even after walking through solutions. I’d feel defeated yet forced myself to continue practicing. Still, even after much practice, interviewing was very intimidating.

Fast forward to today, I’ve had the privilege of experiencing many interviews from both sides for over four years - as the interviewee and interviewer. I’ve worked at or received offers from FAANG giants like Apple, Google, Amazon, and Microsoft.

In my view, interviewing is one of the most life-changing opportunities you can get, even for seasoned engineers. I built InterviewCrunch because I knew I could make interview problems make sense, and help others overcome the same hurdles I went through.
