  • any suggestions for a beginner roguelike? something that's not infuriating
Since Brogue's already been mentioned, I'd add Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup and Tales of Maj Eyal as pretty beginner friendly games. Source: 6 months ago
  • [Steam] Summer Sale 2023 (Day 11)
Have you tried TOME? It's a free roguelike, but you can also buy it and the DLC (sold for $4-7 on his website) on Steam if you end up enjoying it. Source: 11 months ago
  • Can I go in blind?
Try the free download from te4.org first! That is the full game, not a demo. It doesn't have the DLC, but then for most of its existence there were no DLC. I've spent years playing the main campaign before the DLC. Just the main game is huge and has lots of content. Source: 11 months ago
  • Can I go in blind?
Also, what's the difference between the steam collector's edition and the te4.org version? I absolutely don't mind paying 10 eur, but first I want to clarify what's the difference. Source: 11 months ago
