Well, there are dedicated mapping tools (generally paid software, such as Grid Cartographer on Steam, which is supposedly very nice for 2D grid maps), but personally, I have found the humble web-based Gridmapper best for Qud-diving purposes. Try donjon.bin.sh and whip up a quick level or two. You get to set the parameters for size, density, etc, and it includes descriptions. For a quick dungeon it is hard to beat. You can also print your map and a players map. Source: 10 months ago
