  I applied a ton on LinkedIn and reached out to recruiters through there. greenhouse.io is also a good one. Otherwise, Google is your best friend, and I'd hand pick positions that make you apply directly on the company website rather than 3rd party. Source: over 1 year ago

  I'd say I am not anti social, and I do get along well with people. No problem working in a team or by myself. I definitely get what you're saying though about looking like another It guy, but I just don't know what to edit. I wonder if my resume even makes it to a real person and isn't just being thrown out.   Go on careerbuilder.com and other recruiting sites and check job postings that interest you. Sites like Resumeworded and others have free resume scans so you can see how you measure up to the automated resume software many companies use. You copy and paste your resume one one side and a specific job posting on the other. The website will do at least some rough checks that can help, even if it ends with them trying...   You didn't ask this in your interview? Anyway there's a few ways you can find out , you can call them back and ask what your wage is.
