Spacelift is the most flexible management platform for Infrastructure as Code that helps DevOps teams manage their infrastructure-as-code performance for maximum optimization of scaling businesses.

Founded in 2020, Spacelift allows teams to manage complex cloud infrastructures simultaneously, providing visibility and collaboration. It’s a hybrid of super-specialized, narrowly focused IaC automation tools and very generic CI/CDs like Jenkins or CircleCI. Thanks to Spacelift, teams are able to boost their productivity, automate manual processes, and ensure control and compliance.

Spacelift is the only IaC management solution that extends IaC DevOps to encompass the complete set of IaC frameworks including Terraform, Pulumi, and CloudFormation, with Ansible coming soon. Offering a consolidated approach to IaC is beneficial to engineering teams in large corporations that have been acquiring smaller companies that bring different infrastructures and to smaller but diverse organizations aiming to empower application developers.

We have raised over $22M in funding to advance the automation, control and scalability of infrastructure as code. Among our investors are Insight Partners, Blossom Capital, Hoxton Ventures, Inovo Venture Partners, and the founders of Supercell and Yelp.

  • Looking for people to test my new GPU/Ubuntu virtual machine "cloud' service!
I'm just going to mention here the experience of someone who ran gpu.land (doesn't exist any more). He did something similar, monetized it (very cheap) and then had to shut down because people were running crypto miners on it. I hope you have a plan to avoid that type of abuse. • [D] How did the do hyper-parameter tuning for large models like GPT-3, ERNIE etc, as they cost them millions for just training?
RIP to gpu.land... I was hoping they would take off because they seemed to have a cool product with great pricing. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • [P] I created a page to compare cloud GPU providers
There's also https://gpu.land (which has their own comparison page). Source: almost 3 years ago
  • vaccine stuff + back to coding again.
Heya, I'm also so just keeping in touch. After liek 1 month of non redditing, someone replied who claimed to be the developer of gpu.land Apparently it is cloud computing for full Linux rather than the Jupyter notebook like what we tried before. Can I ask what is the update on the cloud computing site? I messaged the gpu.land person to see if we can get some free trial ($1 per hour on cheapest one but I don't know... • Deep Learning options on Radeon RX 6800
There are also more affordable GPU-for-DL-lending options like gpu.land, although I have never used them so I can't vouch for them -- just something I saw on PH. Source: about 3 years ago

  • OpenTofu 1.7.0 is out with State Encryption, Dynamic Provider-defined Functions
None of these are a replacement of Terraform Cloud (recently rebranded to HCP Terraform). For example, when you create a PR, it could affect multiple workspaces. The new experimental version of TFC/TFE (I refuse to call it HCP!) implements Stacks, which is something like a workflow, and links one workspace output to other workspace inputs. None of the open-source solutions, including the paid Digger [0], support... - Source: Hacker News / 13 days ago
  • Ask HN: Who is hiring? (May 2024)
Spacelift | Remote | Europe | Full-time | Senior Software Engineer | $80k-$120k We're a VC-funded startup building an automation platform for Infrastructure-as-Code, adding a Policy-as-Code layer above it, in order to make IaC usable in bigger companies, where you have to take care of state consistency, selective permissions, a usable git flow, etc. On the backend we're using 100% Go with AWS primitives. We're... - Source: Hacker News / 12 days ago
  • OpenTofu 1.7.0 is out with State Encryption, Dynamic Provider-defined Functions
Yes, that's mostly covered by the companies sponsoring OpenTofu's development: Spacelift[0] (I work here), env0[1], Scalr[2], Harness[3], Gruntworks[4]. • How to Manage Terraform with GitHub Actions
Compared to building a custom and production-grade infrastructure management pipeline with a CI/CD tool like GitHub Actions, adopting a collaborative infrastructure delivery tool like Spacelift feels a bit like cheating. - Source: dev.to / 20 days ago
  • Kubernetes CI/CD Pipelines
You can use CI/CD to apply infrastructure changes using IaC techniques, either to Kubernetes or other tools such as Terraform and Ansible. Check out Spacelift to collaborate on infrastructure with full control and flexibility. It includes role-based security policies, detailed usage insights, and full visibility into everything running in your cloud accounts. - Source: dev.to / 28 days ago
