I canceled my subscription a while ago because I've been using my GPT-4 solely through the API with my GPT app. I haven't noticed any decline in the quality of GPT-4, so my assumption is that the model isn't the problem. GPT API returns data in markdown format. You can parse it using a Markdown library and string manipulation. I wanted to play with LLM but didn't want to buy new hardware. I solved that problem by using private RunPod.io, which offers powerful GPUs for only about $1 per hour. I can start and stop it as needed. First I used Oobabooga, and now I'm using the Oobabooga API along with my own https://jhappsproducts.gumroad.com/l/gpteverywhere to connect it from my desktop. Showing them isn't limited by any API at least. They are directly taken from one of the "gif" sites, the source message for them looks like this . That is directly the syntax for markdown "Show inline image", just with a weirdly formatted URL. While the small inline image is then uploaded to reddit for faster access... Source: about 3 years ago
