Do you have any error reporting? Something like Sentry or Google's error reporting. Direct customer feedback can be great, but it often doesn't paint the full picture and doesn't give you technical details that help narrow down the issue. We're commonly doing this with logging, using services such as Loggly or DataDog. We're using managed databases, be it on AWS, Heroku or database-vendor-specific solutions.
