Google Maps Go HERE WeGoHERE WeGo might be a bit more popular than Google Maps Go. We know about 30 links to it since March 2021 and only 27 links to Google Maps Go. All these third-parties are just using limited APIs from other networks and sometimes only one source like the US government network which has very few sensors very far away from most people. a while ago they proxied maps.google.com to www.google.com/maps and default Google Maps link is google.com/maps now. Source: almost 2 years ago
Most Bizzare of all, even using Google's DNS, I can't resolve "maps.google.com" or "news.bbc.co.uk" on the network... Yet I CAN resolve "google.com/maps" and "bbc.co.uk/news". Source: about 2 years ago
As an option you can use Here WeGo - https://wego.here.com (mobile app is also available), they have bus routes with schedules and even show when it's delayed (if the bus is equipped with such system, at least in Limassol older buses do not have it). Source: almost 2 years ago

Agreed, but you are going to get feedback from a lot of folks who apparently really like it. The native navigation comes from a system called HERE and they have deals with a large number of vehicle OEMs. For my situation the native maps are abysmal. The POI database is sparsely populated for my area of the country and it rarely identifies the correct destination unless I enter the specific street address. Worse,... Source: about 2 years ago
