Based on our record, Zillow seems to be a lot more popular than Google Alerts. While we know about 225 links to Zillow, we've tracked only 4 mentions of Google Alerts. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
As always, I appreciate the work you do to share the information you share here. I, too, setup alerts for topics I'm interested in years ago, but figured I'd have a look at their alerts page nowadays. For starters, the google.com/alerts page is blank basically, so sending someone there could be confusing. Instead, be aware that you'll need a Gmail account to use alerts, or if using a non-gmail, it will prompt you... Source: about 1 year ago

The only thing you can do is ignore them, anything else is kicking the can down the road as you cannot meet their demands forever. You should run a virus scan on every device you use and implement unique passwords for each account + two factor authentication everywhere. Once you've done that, review your accounts for any unauthorized changes, paying special attention to all security settings. If you're worried... Source: about 3 years ago
All you can do is ignore the scammer and see what happens. Ignore them if they contact you, and just lay low for some time. If you're worried, I suggest setting up a Google alert for your name in case anything is posted: https://google.com/alerts. Source: about 3 years ago
Should have mentioned my desktop is a debian 12 intel system running both Firefox and Chrome. Hitting https://zillow.com/ with Lynx is somewhat hilarious -- it just gives you a 403. I wonder if my IP got blacklisted 'cause I kept hitting it with a desktop browser they don't care about (Firefox on Linux.). - Source: Hacker News / about 1 month ago

Dear All, my wife and I are planning to move to Boston and are looking for apartments in the greater Boston area. At the moment, we are still located in Germany. Therefore, we thought it might be good to first find a temporary accommodation (apartment) for 1-2 months to have some time until we find something permanent. However, we do not see any temporary offers on zillow.com, apartments.com, or... Source: 7 months ago
PS, I know zillow.com and realtor.com leads exist and have had success with those, but those leads can cost 35% which is insane and I'd rather pivot away from them over time. Source: 7 months ago
I have been advertising with Zillow as a premier agent for 5 months now, and I can tell you that it is 100% a scam. I needed a new place to allocate some advertising dollars and decided to give Zillow a try. The sales rep, Lindsay Caldwell, told me the number of leads per zip I would receive (43) for the spend I was willing to do ($3,000 a month). Zillow makes you sign a 6 month contract, and I was a bit hesitant... Source: 10 months ago
