  • Top 15 Websites for Design Inspiration in 2024
    13. Godly: Unleash Godly web design inspirations on this website. - Source: dev.to / about 1 month ago
  • Web Design Inspiration
I think most of these are a bit boring. Not terrible by any means, but I think I prefer Godly if you're looking for some inspiration: https://godly.website. - Source: Hacker News / 4 months ago
  • Ask HN: What are some well-designed websites?
If you are looking for web sites that look fancy like apple.com https://godly.website/ But people here, and myself, are going to tell you that those are not well designed sites. Well designed sites are mostly text, good typography, follow all accessibility guidelines, etc. - Source: Hacker News / 9 months ago
  • Why three.js?
If you can pull off sites like those showcased on godly.website or awwwards, and many of them are or incorporate 3d because it gives them the edge over competition, then you can get any job you want. The market is practically yours because all you compete against is agenecies with outragious fees and you either work for them or freelance for less. Vanilla threejs is too hard and there is maybe 1 out of thousands... Source: 11 months ago
  • Have you seen a difference in the type of jobs that R3F gets vs 3JS or even Webgl?
If you visit awwwards or godly.website with a few weeks of Threejs under your belt and some experience with React you probably can realise most of what you see there. And if you already have a design background, if this doesn't give you an advantage nothing can. Source: 12 months ago

Lapa Ninja mentions (2)

  • Hey Please Give Me Feedback For My Design
But personally I mostly just check behance, dribbble, and lapa.ninja. Dribble is often very creative, lapa.ninja is very practical and real-world examples. Behance is similar but usually a bit more stylized, and not just limited to landing pages. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Building your own projects
Also for inspiration, I usually go to lapa.ninja as those projects are actually in production, not just a static design that often compromises actual usability and/or accessibility for the sake of aesthetics. Source: over 2 years ago
