  • Web Design Inspiration
I think most of these are a bit boring. Not terrible by any means, but I think I prefer Godly if you're looking for some inspiration: https://godly.website. - Source: Hacker News / 3 months ago
  • Ask HN: What are some well-designed websites?
If you are looking for web sites that look fancy like apple.com https://godly.website/ But people here, and myself, are going to tell you that those are not well designed sites. Well designed sites are mostly text, good typography, follow all accessibility guidelines, etc. - Source: Hacker News / 8 months ago

If you can pull off sites like those showcased on godly.website or awwwards, and many of them are or incorporate 3d because it gives them the edge over competition, then you can get any job you want. • Have you seen a difference in the type of jobs that R3F gets vs 3JS or even Webgl?
If you visit awwwards or godly.website with a few weeks of Threejs under your belt and some experience with React you probably can realise most of what you see there. And if you already have a design background, if this doesn't give you an advantage nothing can. Source: 10 months ago
  • Minimalist portfolio websites?
I typically go to Godly and Awwwards for inspiration, and I find that the Vercel folks like Rauno incorporate a lot of minimalist designs in their own work. Source: 12 months ago
