There are plenty of desktop/mobile apps for working with markdown. (I've been using Notable (desktop) and GitJournal (mobile ) for an Evernote-like experience.) I use Hive hive.com , which is also a project management tool. I sync it with my google calendar for work-related things and with my calendar app on iPhone for home/family-related things. Guess I could use just one calendar and use tags, but this system works best for me.
