Give your laptop a really intensive CPU + GPU workload, for example Prime95 and Furmark simultaneously (www.mersenne.org, geeks3d.com), and monitor temperatures for CPU package and all its cores with HWiNFO (www.hwinfo.com). You can look up the supported instructions for each model at cpu-world.com or install and use cpuid2cpuflags https://packages.gentoo.org/packages/app-portage/cpuid2cpuflags to compare them.
