   As a manager responsible for a team of nine engineers, I've been on a continuous quest to streamline our daily routines and foster more efficient communication. Botimum's Check-In Feature has emerged as a crucial ally in this journey, and here's why it's made such a difference.

   Overall, if you manage a team of engineers or any group where streamlined daily updates are crucial, Botimum's Check-In Feature is a must-have. It's user-friendly, adaptable, and has significantly improved our communication and efficiency. After four months of use, we've witnessed positive transformations in our team dynamics and workflow.

   👍 Pros:    Effortless team connectivity: botimum's check-in simplifies the process of updating availability. it's quick, intuitive, and has eliminated the need for lengthy status updates, freeing up our time for productive tasks.|Asynchronous standups: our engineering team spans various time zones, making synchronous meetings an impractical option. botimum's check-in feature allows each team member to contribute at their convenience, ensuring that no one is left out.|Customization: the ability to tailor check-in questions to suit our specific projects and needs has significantly improved the relevance of our check-in discussions.|Historical insights: the access to historical check-in data has been invaluable. it has enabled us to identify patterns, track progress, and address recurring issues with precision.|Streamlined communication: the check-in feature has reduced the need for constant status check-ins and email updates. we can now see each other's availability at a glance, fostering efficient communication.

   👎 Cons:    If i had to nitpick, there was a slight learning curve for some team members as they adapted to this new tool. however, it's worth emphasizing that the curve is shallow, and the benefits far exceed the initial adjustment.

  My new job recently pulled in https://geekbot.com/ to handle stand ups. Answer a couple basic questions when you login, and they’re all sent to a central channel. I’m not big on that type of communication in general, but it takes maybe 30 seconds each morning. Source: about 2 years ago

• As an IC, is there anything I can do about super cheerful team members using up meetings time?
