  I'd start with learning HTML and CSS first, then Javascript after those. There are a lot of free online resources for learning those. For websites, I use jekyll which is a great way to start off because there are a lot of community website templates that you can customize, which is great for beginners and learning.   That all being said: We are now all waiting on wxwidgets to release their next stable version so that we can upgrade. It makes no sense to use an unstable version of that upstream, as in its development releases it literally breaks on every patch level release.
