20 Best JavaScript Frameworks For 2023
Gatsby lets users pull data from any data source imaginable – CMS like WordPress, Drupal, Netlify, Contentful, etc., or APIs, databases, or simple markdown. Unlike Next.js, which we discussed above, Gatsby does not perform server-side rendering. Instead, it generates HTML content on the client side during build time. As a result, Gatsby delivers blazing-fast performance,...
10 static site generators to watch in 2021
Built using React, it supports writing content in MDX so that JSX and React components can be embedded into markdown, but also aims to remain easy to learn and use by providing sensible defaults and the ability to override if the developer has need. Recently releasing a major update with Docusaurus 2 beta, many of its principles were inspired by Gatsby but it is more focused...

Top Static Site Generators For 2019
Gatsby is optimised for speed. Gatsby tries to build the fatest possible website, it delivers code and data splitting out-of-the-box. Therewith Gatsby loads only the parts of your website which are needed right now. In addition, Gatsby prefetches resources for other pages. Because of that navigating between pages of your website feels incredibly fast.

Install as many apps as you want and don’t worry about running into a virus or malware. FydeOS has an in-built antivirus to protect your computer from various threats. Once everything is set up, you can remotely control it through the FydeOS remote desktop support(RDP).
Android Desktop Shootout: Android x86 vs. Bliss vs. Phoenix OS vs. PrimeOS
FydeOS – If you want something that’s a bit of a mix between ChromeOS and Android, FydeOS is a good choice. Since it’s not a true Android desktop, it’s not covered in more detail. Also, it’s only for 64-bit PCs.
6 Best Android OS for PC (32,64-bit download) in 2021
FydeOS is based on chromium fork to run on Intel computers. Version 10.x runs on running on Chromium r83 (I tested) and supports Android Apps. Despite you won’t find play store as it was mainly focused on the Chinese market where Google services are banned. Still, you can sideload Android apps or even install the Google Play Store.

  • Replatforming from Gatsby to Zola!
Since around 2019 I have used Gatsby as my static site generator. Its plugin system makes it super feature extensible. It uses React under the hood which makes components easy to write and has tons of community support. Once I had a Gatsby site styled and running, publishing blog posts is fairly trivial:. - Source: dev.to / 2 months ago
  • Build a Documentation Website with Gatsby in 10 Mins
Smooth DOC is a ready-to-use Gatsby theme to create a documentation website. Creating a pro-quality website like this one takes weeks. Smooth DOC saves you time and lets you focus on the content. - Source: dev.to / 4 months ago
  • Where to begin?
I'd start with learning HTML and CSS first, then Javascript after those. There are a lot of free online resources for learning those. For websites, I use jekyll which is a great way to start off because there are a lot of community website templates that you can customize, which is great for beginners and learning. Then I'd recommend learning/moving to React. The Gatsby website generator would be good for React... Source: over 1 year ago
  • [AskJS] Need help in choosing the best tech stack to choose for the features listed in a SaaS SSG site (excluding wordpress)
I'm not sure I understand you correctly, are you looking for a static site generator tool? In which case, none (or very few) of those are SaaS (software-as-a-service), but some of my favorites are Astro, NextJS, and Gatsby. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Is Astro ready for your blog?
Remember that Astro is still in beta, although the Astro team announced earlier this month that they plan for version 1.0 to go to general availability in June. For each item, I’ll assess Astro’s associated compliance or performance vs. That of a few other platforms I’ve used: in alphabetical order, Eleventy, Gatsby, Hugo, and Next.js. - Source: dev.to / about 2 years ago

  • Google enables OS upgrades for older PCs post-Windows 10 support cutoff
Is there an adjacent OS to ChromeOS Flex (not other Linux distros) that is independent of Google, like there are custom ROMs against Android? I came across FydeOS (https://fydeos.io/) but it doesn't look like a community effort, rather a commercial product based out of Beijing. - Source: Hacker News / 4 months ago
  • Is there a YouTube lite of some sort for low spec computers?
What about a lighter OS? I put FydeOS on my low powered systems. It's ChromeOS with Android and Linux. It's perfect for a media consumption PC. https://fydeos.io/. Source: about 1 year ago
  • fydeOS is awesome!
I was looking for something like Chrome OS and finally installed fydeOS. Now I can run android apps without android_x86 and feel the super theme given from google. This works great and better performance compared to the brunch framework. Now I can run both Linux and Chrome OS on a single device. I can also use parental controls for my younger sister. Though this has some lack of features but this is really... Source: about 1 year ago
  • Has anyone tried to Install FydeOS on a PineTab? How did it go?
Https://fydeos.io Think of it as an alternative to ChromeOS, so no not Google at all. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Just started degoogling. Anyone got some more tips?
Depending on your hardware there is FydeOS that could also be an option. But keep in mind this isn't as degoogled as other options :). Source: over 1 year ago
