And you can have very specialized communities for example for a specific computer game series, or if you're into Subaru Imprezas there's a whole forum for that as well called NASIOC, and many other non-tech topics too. I spent some time working on this tool called IMDB-Trakt-Syncer which syncs user watchlist, ratings and comments for Movies, TV Shows and Episodes both ways between IMDB and Trakt.
