  • It sucks to suck i guess
I'm not sure if this will help but gaiaonline.com and www.rprepository.com would be great places for you to check out. It's hard being young as a roleplayer. I was in your position too. And it's because of that, I agree with what a lot of people saying. But there are still other sites (like the ones mention) that can be of a great use for all ages. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • hi! does anyone know any cute fashion games like stardew valley? i’m looking for the kinda games where you make the clothes yourself, but i’m open to anything!
Gaiaonline.com - This is a very old browser community I once joined. You basically create your own avatar, and you browse around their website to collect coins, and various fashion items. Though it's not really a design your own sort of fashion, but they've got tons of items to dress up your avatar, and monthly fashion (costs you) for some extras. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Found this dude recently on a Facebook meme about reaction-based fishing minigame had the most needed focus. I'm not sure but I think he is. You're a writer if you write. Thus, you're a gamer if you play games, no matter what games you are playing.
I love fishing games, mini or otherwise. It probably would've broken their brain if I said, before Flash player died a horrible death, that my favorite fishing "mini game" was on the website gaiaonline.com! Gasp! Oh the horror, oh the...wait, Gaia whuuuuuuut? Source: over 2 years ago
  • What is the stupidest thing someone has gone “elitist mode” on you about?
I still recall a time when I was much younger and had a gaiaonline.com account, some japanophile dweeb got upset that I and a few other people were having a discussion about Japanese media using English terminology. Source: almost 3 years ago

  • Bought my first laptop for my education after years of being homeless, hope I invested my money right.
CS is computer science. Also check out edx.com It is hosted by Harvard and if you pay for the course which is very little you get a certificate from them. There is also groupings of courses were you can get a business certificate. Also check out udemy.com. Wait for the specials for $10-15. I have heard that google has certificates that are free but that businesses except. Just try stuff and even look at skills... Source: 11 months ago
  • Rant - Anyone else having trouble finding a job?
Core coding and IT skills are a must though. Pick a language you followed and liked at Uni, check there is decent job demand for it, and do a udemy.com course on it (great value, great content, very cheap). Pair this with a major cloud (Azure or AWS) qualification which is pretty much a must these days, and you're much more attractive as an applicant. Source: 11 months ago
  • Tech careers that won’t be taken over by AI?
Prompting is so new I don't think a degree is offered yet, but Microsoft has some accredited classes (FREE) - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/training/ and you can get a certificate on AI and chatGPT from https://udemy.com , I got a few from them :). Source: 11 months ago
  • Failed my Salesforce Admin today
I am studying Salesforce administrator fundamentals at udemy.com. I am taking this course where the instructor provides a checklist of all the topics/subjects you will see in the test. For example, according to the instructor, who passed his administrator certification on his first try, teach the specific concepts you will see in the test. I think that there are 133 features/concepts. So, the first video is about... Source: 11 months ago
  • Cheap/free language lessons
If you're prepared to do self-study, take a look at the udemy.com learning site. I paid somewhere in the region of £15 (they retail for around £60-70 in general but always come on sale at some point) for a number of courses (incl. languages). The courses are rated by students and I haven't yet been let down. Source: 11 months ago
