There are some good resources like frontendmentor.io that you can try to get some understanding of how HTML and CSS work together. I'll say don't waste too much time on learning.   Personally, I like codingame.com (completely free unless you are an employer) - Their simple puzzles are great places to get an idea of how programming works and the kinds of problems they solve. I think the first puzzle I was able to solve as a beginner in a few days. Source: about 1 year ago
