  • How can I donate clothes to local folks in need?
Doesn't Goodwill accept vouchers from organizations that are good for free clothing? Also freecycle.org allows you to advertise free items to people in need. Source: 6 months ago
  • Places to recycle electronics?
If you think a handy person could repair it, offer it on trashnothing.com or freecycle.org. Source: 11 months ago
  • Does anyone know anywhere I can rent furniture?
Hey! You can find plenty of free furniture at FreeCycle I've donated plenty of furniture in the past. I'd say the hardest thing is to move it around, maybe you can arrange it, in some cases you're lucky that the furniture is small enough, or the owner drops it at yours, etc. Good luck! • Does anyone know eCoupons for the Lenovo website? Trying to buy a legion 4070 but wanted to save a few bucks
You could also try retailmenot.com and see if anybody has listed newer codes. Very spotty luck with that site tho. Hey, even if it saves $20, it's worth the time! Source: about 1 year ago
  • alternatives to Catherine's
If you should decide to try Catherine's again, try doing a google search for Catherines Free Shipping or something like that. I often find a free shipping code on retailmenot.com Same with a lot of other stores. I've happened on coupons and ended up with unexpected discounts. There are a few coupon sites out there. • [Lenovo Store] Lenovo Legion 5 Pro 16" Laptop: Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3070 Max 140W, 16 GB RAM, 2 TB SSD, QHD+ 16" 165Hz IPS Display for $1,425 after 20% off + coupon codes LEGIONEXTRA10 & BTS2022
You can also get 8% cash back from retailmenot.com. That would basically subsidize the cost of upgrading the ram to 32gb dual rank. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Advice for best place to finance a new car?
Protect yourself by first pulling your FICO score (go to MyFico and pull your own score, and you can get a coupon from retailmenot.com) and shop around. You can shop around for rates without a hard pull so you know how much car you can afford for the interest rate you would qualify for with that FICO. When you pull your own FICO this way, it doesn't count as a hard pull and puts more knowledge in your hands. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Winter legging suggestions (in Canada/online shopping)
I'm in Canada, too. Lands' End has fast shipping to Canada, and I've bought a lot of quality basics from them. They have lined leggings here, though I haven't bought them myself: https://www.landsend.com/products/womens-high-rise-serious-sweats-fleece-lined-pocket-leggings/id_359400?attributes=3298,44967. Lands' End always has discount codes (sign up for emails or check retailmenot.com), so never pay full price. Source: over 2 years ago
