Don't do bootcamp. Start with something like https://freecodecamp.org and take a few lessons. Try to build something from that and see how motivated you are. If you see some progress and this thing still excites you, then may be find an engineer (a friend/co worker etc) who can guide you a bit as you continue to build something. 2 months ago, I started learning Python, and I'm quite at the end of my Basic Python course and will be moving into more advanced subjects such as (Algorithms, and data structures). I use Automate the boring stuff (book) as a base for learning Python basics and supplement it by googling concepts/syntax I don't fully understand or would like to know more about. I practice a lot by doing coding exercises (i. e. w3resource.com has exercises with solutions, but I also google other ways of solving a problem), and I try to have a solid grip on the concept I'm learning before moving on to another.
